Long time customer of these products, own several of them. This is a very powerful UV flashlight at the right (ie, lower) frequency. Only advice I have when using it, get some UV-resistant eye-piece!

Great light you didn’t know you needed!

I purchased this as a novelty but found it extremely useful. It is excellent for finding dirt and imperfections in your house. Dust will light up blue, bathrooms that need a cleaning will appear radioactive, like my kid’s bathroom. You will find all kinds of paint imperfections. It is useful for determining how well the housekeeper did, and possibly igniting your OCD. It is really fun to use outdoors to find things that will fluoresce, like certain rocks, insects, Easter eggs, tennis balls, the list goes on. Indoors in the dark it is very “bright.” It will make anything white fluoresce. Typical Malkoff quality. It does seem to run a bit brighter off CR123s than 18650s. Both work but the primaries are a little “brighter.” Take it to your friend’s house and immediately make them self-conscious. Debating on taking it traveling.... Picture is a tennis ball in the yard about 20 feet away.

This unit is a solid work of art! Functions excellently and the battery and charger are top notch. Buy from here and never fear! I look for scorpions before sitting in my hunting blind. Avi
