MDX3 Body and Switch

Perfect size for duty belt

Initially I though the MD3 body would be too big of a body but it ended up being perfect. I was not in search of a pocket/edc light but I did want something comfortable to keep on my duty belt without adding too much bulk and this met the requierments. Another plus is that it is easy to get a solid purchase of the light when drawing it from my duty belt In addition it is an extremely solid and rugged body worthy of duty use. The balance between size and weight is perfect when paired with M91T head, Tricap tail cap with 2, 18500 battaries. For me the standard talcap recessed the switch pad too much for my prefrence, which is why I went with the Tricap tailcap insted. The Tricap tailcap has some areas that are releived for easier access to the switch pad. I look forward to using this setup for several years !

This is my second MD3 body. Both have the M91B drop in, one warm and one cool. I think they’re a great all around size, especially with the amount of light they put out with m91’s. The new body style is good. High quality just as my other Malkoff’s.

Versatile, robust and high-quality host

the md3 host is very versatile. it can be used with two 18500 batteries, or with three cr123 batteries or even two AA batteries (eneloops). the quality and robustness of the host follows the standard of all malkoff products. I recommend!
