I demoed the E3’s at canJam & and it was a magical euphoric auditory, experience. The hype is REAL! The E3’s are end game, for me. The clarity is insane without being too bright. I’m overly sensitive to brightness so it eliminates a lot of cans. The bass is very deep, well defined and clean with a rich gorgeous mids. The sound stage is huge and the imaging is next level. These cans have made me tear up several times already. That has only happened to me at live shows or from my stereo system speakers. There has been a lot of tracks that I’ve listened to and thought it was a different recording because I heard so subtle details in the track that I’d never heard before. And they definitely reveal bad recordings. I’m running them with the schiit joutenheim 2 & bifrost 2/64. It sounds incredible to me. I also use my Chord Mojo 2 when moving around the house. It surprised me by how satisfactory it was. I’ll grab something with more portable power down the road. The E3’s are wonderful and I highly recommended them. It’s a experience.

An odd experience. I found there to be a hotspot with the headband, and whenever I tried to adjust it, if I touched the metal rods, it sounded like I had just strummed a bass string. Quite annoying at its price.....

I'm not practiced at describing sound terms but these E3s sound amazing! Brought out new details in some of my favorite recent albums (Mk.gee's Two Star & The Dream Police, SZA's SOS Deluxe though this one still seems mixed pretty flat, her voice sounds great with the E3s.) The only thing I'm looking into now is an aftermarket additional padding for the adjustable strap. The auto adjustment mechanism always lowers over time and the extra space would keep it in position. Thoughts?
