Great value to add another sound to the system. Nice for long listening sessions and very good width and depth of soundstage. If you want to use NOS, make sure to connect via usb. Sounds good, looks good, fun unit.

Great DAC
What a great value, R2R and tubes, balanced, OS/NOS, what’s not to love. I have had a lot of DACs, built my own DACs and this one is a great option. Is it as good as my Pontus 15th, no, but it is oh so close. I’ve had Laiv uDAC and Enyo 15th and I’d take this over those. No regrets, just buy it.

Warmer R2R Impressions
Though the Warmer was delayed for several months I was eager to listen to it when it finally arrived. Out of the box I replaced the JJ's with 4 Gold Lion's and ran it for about 24 hours to get it broke-in a bit. It replaced a Denafrips Pontus I've had for several years. The Warmer's sound is very nice, a small amount less detail in bass and treble but that worked well with my vintage Altec Valencia speakers. Recommended for those using horns that get strident (beaming) at high frequencies with higher volume, or whose systems have too much treble energy. I'm keeping it.
