I'm not an audiophile by any stretch, I usually pay a little bit of money to get something high end, and so far, these are far the best sounding headphones I've owned, they hit all the marks for me, clarity in all tones like I have never heard, bass hits hard and clean, battery life longest I've had in stereo headphones.
It's been eye opening how good these sound, music listening hasn't been this fun, just fantastic.
My most recent headphones are the Sony XM4's, a great headset, and I'll say yes, Sony still beats out the HDB 630's in noise cancelling, but in sound, not even in the same conversation, which is the most surprising thing to me, the Sony's sound so muddy compared, the bass hardly refined compared the the HDB 630's. I was worried from reviews that the HDB's wouldn't hit as hard as my XM4's, most reviews said they are bass heavy and some might not like that, I honestly don't know what most were talking about, these hit hard, and adjustments can be made to make them hit even harder, too hard in my case.
Love the headphones, while spendy, the moment I listen to music in these, I didn't think of the price at all.
