Sturdy, takes time to put together

If you follow the instructions on the pictures step by step it will work to put it together, it took us 3 hrs (we are practical people).The result is a sturdy machine. Before you buy take measurements where you want to put it. We bought the Olympic Rubber Pate set with it and are very happy with our purchase.

The leg press is well made and functions as intended. I hired a professional to assemble it, and it was a monster to assemble primarily because instructions lack detail and parts have nothing to distinguish left from right, etc. Northern Fitness should post an instructional video.

Almost well made.

So much of this leg press is wonderfully made. Most of the welding is excellent, the powder coat is excellent, the packaging is excellent... BUT, the two handles and bars to lock the sled are terrible. Those two parts have terrible welding, incomplete penetration, sharp edges that could slice during assembly, weld spatter all over, sharp corners, poor zinc plating, cheap handle foam... two pieces probably made in a different shop than the rest of pieces takes the assembly from from 5-stars, to 3-stars.
