3ful Lanshan 2 Pro 3 season 2026

I’m no expert on tents but bought the Lanshan Pro 2 2026 based on YouTube reviews, the weight and the cost. Have used for 3 consecutive nights during end of May in the UK where the temperature was 12 degrees Celsius at night with some rain and 15/20mph wind gusts. Me and my son both 6’0 and slim and we slept fine and warm with 2 Vango Thermocore camping mats side by side and 5 degree comfort sleeping bags. Because of the zip doors pitching quite high it does get draughty which was fine for the mild nights and refreshing but not sure I’d be using this single skin tent in cold temperatures even with a decent sleep system. (I know it can be pitched lower down by reducing the pole length which I did once but still draughty. Condensation was not an issue until the last night where the wind dropped and condensation formed. This wasn’t a problem as the tent is long enough for feet and head not to touch if careful and condensation didn’t build up on the mesh sides next to us. We didn’t have any serious rain upon pitching but if 2 people in it I think it would be challenging in the wet and wind to keep everything dry while setting up sleep systems etc. But I’m guessing this would be the same for any small 1-2 person tent. The tent is easy and quick to pitch, especially with the mod kit of extra pegs and ground sheet and there is enough room under the doors to stash a large 65 litre rucksack and other kit. It’s sturdy and feels strong and will happily use again this summer but would choose another tent for the colder months.
