The Thinny - 3mm (1/8 inch) Foam Sleeping Mat

Simple is good

Simply put it is a cheap and effective way of protecting your expensive sleeping mat, adding a little insulation and providing a sitting area to… sit on. I wouldn’t sleep on it though, that would be unfortunate. It’s really good at being a thin foam mat.

130 days constant use

This was the most treasured piece of equipment (next to my atom pack) on the whole of my CDT adventure. It was in use 24/7 as a flop down, seat, insulator and as padding for my lower back. Yes I used it as a yoga mat and a wind break. My partner cut off the end of hers and used bits for shoe repair. Only in the final days did the thinner become noticeably too thin and small tears appear. ‘fire resistant’
