Great compact cb with an excellent display!

At first, thank you, RCR, for the fast delivery. Last week I installed the radio in my truck. Thanks to its compacter size it fits well in the console (in front of the shifter) of my 2. gen. Nissan Frontier. I routed the antenna cable backwards through the center tunnel, from there under the carpet under the drivers seat, then to the rear of the cabin in the cable channel under the door sill trim. There is a rubber plug right next to the cabin vent (king cab), large enough to feed the cable with the connector through. Great:-) Antenna (5' Firestik) is attached via the "Universal 3-way mount" and some large washers to the existing "Utilirack" channel system. I had to fit a somewhat longer bolt on the antenna to get SWR down to 1.3. So far very happy overall! Best thing on the President Thomas is the large display. Easy to read, especially for folks my age 60+... The reception is very clear and the automatic squelch seems to work good. In the few days after the install I haven't had a chance to make some conversation, though. Like in Europe (where I came from), CB has gotten rather quite? Delivery was very fast, as usual. I have not installed the radio yet (I have a 2020 f350 and have not figured out how to run the wires yet). Radio looks just as advertised. The radio is a lot smaller than my Cobra 29 lx, so it will be a better fit.

Great all around radio

Easy to mount, great TX audio, sensitive receiver, and the ASC works very well. The internal speaker even sounds good. Right Channel Radios got it to me fast and in great shape too
