Have had this for 3 weeks and the internal spring has seized up rendering the mount useless. I was also sent the hdqd2 version instead of the Hustler QD2 that was shown on the website… not very happy. Update: Right Channel was very responsive and replaced the defective mount with the proper one. Great customer service!!!! They are my go to now!!

Only way to go

They're a little pricey but very well made and easy to put on and off makes life a lot easier no more wrenches. If you park somewhere where your antenna is a issue it makes it very easy to remove push down give a quarter turn and put them in the back seat and when you're ready just reverse the process and you're on your way in a matter of seconds.

Looks good so far

While I have not put this to use yet (the Willys Jeep it is going on is not finished yet) It appears to be very well made (and I was a Custom Knifemaker for 14 years full time so I know good machine work) I would have liked the cross pin to be a little bigger in diameter but it does look like it will handle the 84" Firestik I am going to attach to it.
