Looks good, 3/8 – 24th thread should go well with my ball mount and spring. Wanted something a little shorter than the 102 inch whip on days when I don’t wanna have an obnoxious antenna on my car. Plan to use it for CBN for 10 m.

We field tested this antenna is the San Rafael Swell in Utah last month and were very pleased with its performance. It is a much better match to the hood mount on our Grand Cherokee than the fiberglass mast we had tried previously. The reception was also very good with excellent range.

Great for fender mount!

Seems like a good antenna so far. I’m getting good range and the antenna seems pretty durable mounted to the fender on my 2013 F-150. I did have to trim the antenna quite a bit to achieve an acceptable SWR. I got it down to 1.8:1 on channel 20. So far, I’m super happy with this antenna, just be ready to tune it if you go with this one.
