Visual privacy & some sound dampening - great!
This accomplishes just what we'd hope -- it offers a bit of privacy in our workspace, they're beautifully made and aesthetically pleasing, helps to cover up an ugly mess of cables, and offers some sound dampening. I only gave it a 4-star rating because I think the sound dampening could be improved and/or more apparent. Overall, highly recommend.
