Great bar

Love the bar. When first setting up the garage gym, I purchased a Cap barbell 28.5 mm. Hesitant at first on getting the power bar because of the price. But finally got it, and it was well worth it. The medium knurling is perfect, compared to other bars I have used in commercial gyms. The triple knurl marks feel great for orientating hand position where I need them. Overall highly recommend.

Happy lifting

The Bodybuilding Barbell is my second from Texas PowerBars. I also own the classic Texas Power Barbell. I bought this one thinking about deadlifts since its diameter is smaller and would allow me a better grip once my forearms start tiring. It has worked very well for that purpose and for general lifting. The knurling is good (moderately aggressive) and works for any lift, even OHP without destroying my hands. I like that it has center knurl since I can also use it for squatting when I don’t want to switch bars. Overall, a great barbell.
