Great value, quality, and customer service. Forged weights have numerous advantages over cast iron, and the icing on the cake is the final machining to make sure every plate is accurate, precise, and balanced. I upgraded my order from a couple pairs of plates to a set, and now I have some extra perfectly good, perhaps not as accurate, 1990s vintage cast iron plates to donate to my local community center. I'll definitely return here when I'm ready to upgrade my bars, dumbbells, etc.

Best source for plates

Barbell Standard plates are always spot on for their listed weight, and the prices are very fair. Not to mention the fast shipping unless its backorder. Their the only source I use for my plates.

My go to for plates

Barbell Standard is my go to for plates, I have quite a few from them now, and every single one of them have been extremely close to their listed weight. I have over 30 of their plates, so that's a pretty good test of quality I feel like. There are definitely other companies were their steel plates are several ounces off. Highly recommend
