I have an off-brand vocal headphone and was looking for replacement leather and memory foam ear pads. Although these are a bit bigger than the originals, they fit well and are very comfortable

A Nice Upgrade

Purchased these earpads to replace my old factory earpads on my ATH m40x headphones that had fallen apart after about 3 years of use. I was looking for a more durable option than the fake leather used in the original pads, and found these through a recommendation on Reddit. They were easy to unpack and install, though I assumed that the thin mesh separating the earpads from the headphone speakers would cause ear discomfort due to lack of padding from past experience. Taking the advice of other reviewers, I removed the thin foam inserts present on the backs of the original earpads and inserted them into the Brainwavz earpads before installation. After 2 weeks of use I can say that I don't notice too much dampening of audio, and the pads are very comfortable. Overall a good purchase. I won't speak for all models of headphones but this is definitely a good choice for ATH brand headphones that use this shape of earpads.

Microplastics

So these will last longer then other pleather earpads.. With the outside being leather.. However the inside, underside and skirt to fit to headphone clips are all made of plastic leathers that will in a year break down and peel just like any other pleather earpads. once the plastic layer is peeled away creating mess and mircoplastics for the environment you will be left with leather outer pads and cloth inner pads how ever take care at this stage because the thin material on the fitment skirt becomes fradgile and prone to rip, estimated full life span about 3 years if care is taken
