Keychron Q1 Max QMK/VIA Wireless Custom Mechanical Keyboard

A big downgrade

This product is a downgrade relative to the previous version. I deeply regret not unpacking it and testing it out in the return period: (1) The keyboard is much louder -- on the Pro, keypresses were basically silent with the right switches; now, they are very loud. Moreover, it pings like crazy. For a keyboard marketed as an upgrade, this is a big disappointment. (2) It uses Keychron's custom software, which does not work as seamlessly as Via / caniusevia. Firmware won't update, things just break. I got it to work, but man it was a poor experience compared to caniusevia.

I absolutely adore this keyboard! It functions flawlessly, produces excellent sound, and its a stylish design. I highly recommend it! However, it’s quite heavy, so I wouldn’t recommend traveling with it.
