Awesome reeds

I’ve been using the American Cut reeds for about 4 years now and love them. They are always ready to go and last a long time. I perform 3 to 4 nights a week and they never let me down.

American Cut alto reed

Recently I purchased the American Cut alto reed in 2.0 strength. That proved too strong for my Meyer New York 7 mouthpiece. However, the American Cut alto reed in 1.75 is perfect! I can play all registers with confidence and control and get the volume I am looking for. I absolutely love this reed!

Perfect Blend

I have heard the Signature described as a middle type sound - versatile enough for any style. I would have to agree. I find the sound very pleasing. I am able to really push it and also play softly. I play mostly Jazz, but I wanted a more traditional sound and not a screaming, bright sound. This reed fits the bill.
