Why not include the sticker in package?

Lock installation went fine once I cut my door opening a little larger (not RVLocks fault the manufacturer cut a tight opening for the old lock). Lock works as advertised. BUT, mine needs the black sticker (sold separately) to cover the paint gap from the old lock to the new lock. WHY isn’t that sticker just included in the standard package? No way to know you’ll need this sticker until installation. I paid over $200 for this RVLock (and waited about 2 weeks for delivery)…..now I have to order the sticker (and wait another week or two)……uninstall the lock, install the sticker & reinstall the lock. Charged $14.02 for a $0.10 sticker. For the price of this lock, why isn’t that sticker just part of every package?? Left a sour taste in what otherwise would have been a good review!

It was a pain to install! But I can't think anything else would have been as good a result. Issues are that the older coach had a thicker door, and the screen door had to be altered a bit to allow clearance of the red paddle lock inside, and the inside paddle handle. Taking out the old strike plate, and replacing it with the larger one, (new dead bolt) took some work. Had to grind off some of the side of the new dead bolt, and increase the bolt size in the new strike plate. Getting pretty thin there. I park on an incline, so the door slams pretty hard sometimes. I've had the paddle handle lock itself doing so. (just twice). I'd like to see a foamy washer under that handle to make it not so loose. Can that handle be removed easily to add a washer?
