One Key To Rule Them All

Since purchasing a new travel trailer, I set out to reduce the number of keys that I carry and these were easy choices to pair with two door locks keyed-alike. My only complaint would be that these do not come in longer cylinder sizes as I have one outdoor compartment with a larger cylinder than 3/4" and would like to replace it with one as well.

Doesn’t fit normal baggae doors

The description says this fits up to 1” doors, so I assumed it would include offset cams for standard door thicknesses like virtually every other cam lock on the market. It doesn’t. Instead, it comes with a short, nearly straight bar that only works for a very limited range of doors. That’s on me for assuming, I guess. What’s more frustrating is that the company has been replying to reviews for over two years saying their engineers “will look into updated designs.” Realistically, designing a simple offset cam to work with this lock took me 10 minutes, so it’s hard to understand the delay. Customer service didn’t help either. The representative was dismissive and even cut me off while I was trying to politely wrap up the call. In the end, I had to design my own offset cam, 3D print it to verify the fit, and then send it out to be custom cut. I regret buying the full package from this company.

Nice piece, good price

I like it, I wish it was all polished instead of black portion. I wish their was a way to get these tighter, but my camper cargo doors just compresses together. They need a metal sleeve to keep from crushing the door material! This is the doors problem, not this lock.
