Synapse 19

Great EDC bag

I really love the Synpase 19. I agonized over what size and which bag to get and I’ve found this one is perfect for me. As I 5’3” female, the size of it is very comfortable and the capacity is more than enough to carry my work laptop and other daily things. I also brought it with me on a recent trip and loved how easy it was to get into the side pockets while it was with me under the seat in the plane.

Keeping things in order

I was looking for a compact backpack and this is it. There is the usual excellent TB build quality and lots of useful pockets for organisation. I haven't used it yet but I expect I'll appreciate the central bottle pocket and will be able to use the bag for overnight trips. And Bordeaux Spectron is a gorgeous colour.

Great daily driver

I didn't know which backpack was going to fit my smaller frame (I'm 5"5) and after trying a few products from Tom Bihn I found the Synapse 19 was the answer. Incredibly well made, useful and deep compartments, low profile, comfortable straps.. this bag has it all. It's become my go-to travel bag and is showing zero signs of wear after taking it on 3/4 trips so far. Only gripe with it being a smaller bag is that your normal water bottle will likely not fit in the middle compartment.
