Flow Satchel (4L)

It's the perfect size!!!!

This bag is a great grab and go for short trips around town. It has excellent organization and the water bottle pocket is the main reason I bought it. I highly recommend it!!!!!

Exceeds expectations.

The Satchel has more pockets than expected. I also purchased the padded strap and it's a very comfortable combination. My previous EDC bag was tight and cramped. The Flow is not and there's plenty of extra space. It's the best EDC bag I've owned.

Almost perfect for my needs

Was looking to replace a timbuk2 messenger xs as the new version wasn’t good and this was the best replacement. In some ways it is better. I like the slightly vertical orientation of the bag and internal pockets. My main carry item is a digital camera with small prime lens (and non camera stuff) and I did not want to carry a dedicated camera bag with bulky padding. My camera fits perfectly (Nikon zf with 40mm) and it doesn’t block the other items I may want to put in there. I sort of wish it was slightly bigger maybe by 1-2L but not more than that as it starts looking like a laptop bag. The zip shape is kind of interesting but you do lose out some space because of it. Just have a few gripes tho hence the 4 stars 1) it’s called green, but the shade of green doesn’t match the flight sling green. It’s sort of hard to tell in videos and reviews. I wish they would at least call different shades of green different names. 2) the satchel style and esp the zip style is slightly feminine. I kind of feel like I’m searching thru a purse when I unzip it while walking around. But ymmv and it’s mostly ok. 3) as many have said the optional padded strap kind of sucks. The main reason it sucks is because the pad section is being restricted on both sides by the adjustment buckle. Because of its long length u tend to adjust on both the buckles very short, to the point where the padded part is fixed to one position. And because of this fixed position, it’s not easy to adjust from wearing the bag slung behind you or slung in front of you. You gotta adjust the length to fit one carry style and hope you’re not inconvenienced when you occasionally go the other style. The way to fix this is 1) make the pad either be able to go over the buckles 2) make the length shorter so people don’t need to adjust the buckles so high 3) make only one buckle. 4) make the pad shorter. One of these should do it. But these three criticisms mostly don’t take away too much from the bag.
