Arcus S-Series Violin Bow

I ended up buying the Arcus S5 round bow and it is incredible. It extracts a sweet tone from my violin. The weight and balance are perfect for me. I tried a Jon Paul muse bow but was extremely disappointed in that bow. In the future I will always be choosing Arcus over Jon Paul.

I tried several of the S-series (6-9) and a T-8 and loved how much power and clarity you get from the S-9. Decided to just go big and get it over the 7 and 8 because I did notice subtle differences between them. The T I would describe as a very good well-rounded bow. But you definitely feel and hear the power difference with the S-series. I also feel the octagonal is more agile than the round. I have it paired with the Ming Jiang Zhu 925 and it’s a fantastic pairing. Cheers!

Love my Arcus S7 Violin Bow

I loved Michael’s demo and the bow trial. My S7 bow is light, responsive and agile. This is my second Arcus bow, I’m a big fan. Fiddlershop was a joy to work with. Thank you very much.
