Very smooth playing bow

This bow has so many things that are fabulous about it. The fit and finish is perfect. The balance and feel is responsive yet settled. It is very light in hand and little larger in diameter for the index finger when gripped. The sound is round and not biting and harsh like my previous carbon fiber bow from another large manufacturer. It is a flexible bow in hand and allows for very soft playing and fairly loud playing. It requires a little extra effort than I might have expected for the loudest passages. This allows the player to have very good control over expression but requires some work for the highest of high volume levels. This bow is a piece of artwork to see and play. It would probably not be the first choice for a very dark instrument but great for neutral or bright instruments. I like that it is different enough from my wood bow in sound and feel to give options for different pieces. It is really a smooth bow to play.
