Incredible Bean
These red peas are so incredibly delicious. They are tender but hold their shape. The flavor is meaty and earthy. It is a miracle that we even get to have them at all. These little beans carry a big story and I'm so grateful I was able to taste them.

A great surprise
After an overnight soak, these little guys were added to a dish that my daughter (and an AI) had made up. The concoction was boiled for a while, and then served for dinner. The Sea Island Peas were a fantastic addition to the dish because of their texture (soft and tender) and taste (slightly sweet and absolutely delicious). They took on the flavors of the dish without losing their own taste, and combined with the other ingredients well because of their size. I would highly recommend them for anyone trying to eat healthy and create new recipes.

Yum
I didn’t even know these red peas existed, I used them in a chicken-hatch chili stew! Perfection
