I bought this for long walks and hikes. It works well and is very comfortable. He pulls a lot and I have had no issues.

Can be a long or short line with a hand hold or waist clip. Small pouch for treats or bags. Quality components. And it's so neat and tidy!

Leash that solved my problem!

Retractables are nice for certain things, like fetch, etc. but they're hard to hold on to if yanked. If your on a trail and need to be able to pull your dog back or give a correction at a moment's notice - they aren't the friendliest on your hands either. I've struggled to find a leash that was slightly longer (without being a true long-line), that had a place to stow the excess line, have a means of securing it to yourself, while also having a means of adjusting the length securely (not having to just hold the line yourself or tying knots throughout it). This leash solved all those problems! It will definitely be a staple in my hiking gear from now on. The rope and hardware are all solid, the belay system is lovely! Currently I've only tested it at home - haven't been able to test it on trail yet - but I have no doubt that it'll perform once I do.
