Front Range® Harness

I took all the measurements prior. I have a pug. He kept slipping his shoulder through the top of the harness. This led, to him choking himself. This would happen at night. One night I had to drive up to the animal hospital because he was so bad his throat is closed. Now don’t get me wrong rough. Where is the best leashes out there and harnesses and everything else. I have to call the company because I do not understand why the dog constantly gets his elbow and shoulder through the harness, leaving it tight enough to choke him while he tries to move around. One night I even found them hopping around on one on 3 feet. Until I grabbed them and stuffed his elbow back through the harness. I’m going to call the people at roughwear. Since the item was only used for one and a half days. I’m going to send them back to them.

Needs improvement

I like this harness, but I really wish they would change the material that is up against the dogs body. It pulls my dogs fur out and then sticks in the harness, impossible to get it out! They should be using the same material as the hi and light harness. I would have purchased a new hi and light, but do not like any of the colors. Make an orange hi and light harness, please.

I’ve owned several Ruffwear harnesses that have endured over a decade of rigorous use and still look pristine. As a border collie with a smaller frame, Kaia was in between sizes. I chose a S instead of XS because I’m confident this harness will serve her well for years to come. The color complements her beautifully, and the harness feels lighter and more comfortable compared to previous designs. Adjusting it is significantly easier this time around since the adjustment components are not as concealed as in previous versions.
