Growing Radicchio

Seeded in the last week of July (Long Island) which resulted in bolting of some plants. Should have seeded then two weeks later. In the second half of November, the outer leaves started rotting, but the inside still could be used, it gave me a harvest of at least six weeks long. The quality of the leaves is excellent with not much bitterness.

Only 2 germinated

I have two beautiful heads forming in my garden, but I was disappointed that only 2 plants germinated out of the whole 1/8 gram packet.
