Good seeds, 20 per packet, only 2 were duds in each of my packets( they look the same from the outside, those were just unfertalized, it happens) i have high hopes for germination.

Adding Sea Kale as a garden staple in Maine...
When I saw Sea Kale as an offering at Pinetree, and knew I had to give it a try! It would be a special addition to the garden not only as something that was grown in colonial gardens, but also because it is not only edible, but striking as well.
Like others have noted, they are pretty finicky to get to germinate- a known quality of the plant--but my four successful seedlings have been doing really well so far!
I am looking forward to having them in the garden for years to come, and also looking forward to cooking up the sprouts that will now accompany the asparagus in the spring! :-}

Pinetree was a pleasure to do business with.
My first order had some issues...as soon as I let them know pinetree stepped up and made it right. You can't ask for more than that. I highly recommend them...I know I'll be ordering again soon. My sea kale is still growing.
