Okinawa Chef's Knife

A beautiful, expertly crafted knife. It is suprisingly light! Which is just perfect for my wife. She needed to prep some onion, celery, carrot, and green chili for some stuffed bell peppers. At first I had given her my Tatara Chef's knife. The mass of that knife overwhelmed her small hands, so I handed her the Okinowa Chef's knife. She chopped through the vegetables with ease. She said it was light and easy to handle. She liked the sharp slicing edge that she didn't have to exert much force on. If the wife's happy, I'm happy. It's also a gorgeous piece of my growing collection of Wasabi knives. Wasabi's Lara is a superb customer support agent too!

I have not received this knife. It appears there were 2 shipments. The sharpening tool arrived, not the knives. This sucks.

I love the knife came out the box razor sharp and ready to go only issue I can say I had was it took a while to get to me after that love the product.
