Excellent Product

Have eaten hams from many different regions. Even compared to famous products from Parma or Iberico your San Deniele ham looks very goog. Taste and texture are quite excellent.

3rd Purchase (wish the price was going down, not up)

This is the best leg of prosciutto money can buy, as far as I know. Simply delicious. With my Berkel slicer, I can cut it to a thinness that basically melts in your mouth...

The finest prosciutto ever; tender, tasty and expensive

We have enjoy many local prosciutto variations, and this is as good as any we have ever had. The extended aging produced a darkly colored ham of exceptional tenderness and taste. This is not salty, but truly savory ham with the distinct San Daniele character. The ham arrived warm as we live on the West coast and it took a week to reach us, not an issue. It weighed just over 16 lbs. We had to cut away some skin but it came easily away with minimal waste. I cut it into 8 pieces and freeze all but 1, and pull out a fresh chunk every few weeks. I try to use it all within 3-4 months however. The only issue with this ham is the price. We waited for a sale, and it was still hard to spend the money.
