Nostalgia
When I was little, my grandmother used to brew this tea all the time. I remember all the little figurines she had collected and how I was allowed the duplicates to do with as I pleased, which was usually smash them against my hotwheels cars in that way that children do. She eventually passed and I moved to an area that didn't carry Red Rose teas. I subsisted off some well known brands, which were fine, but always had a darker bitter flavor that I wasn't a huge fan off. I would always throw tons of sugars and creams to get them up to a level of enjoyment, but, as I age, I can't really do that anymore. I eventually remembered the tiny figurines I used to play with as a child and looked up if they were still around- and, surprise, they are. I ordered some basic black tea and have been ordering them ever since. I've had to switch to decaf, because caffeine is the enemy of sleep in middle age. And, although the process of caffeine extraction does change the flavor of tea, I find Red Rose's decaf to be somewhat improved- it's a softer, smoother flavor that doesn't need a lot of sugar to be refreshing. I highly recommend this tea- and you can still get the little figurines, which I display along the shelves in front of my aquariums.

Best Tea Ever
Red Rose is the only tea I have used for the last 40 years. True! My friend used Red Rose and I have ever since I loved her iced tea.

Perfect!
Red Rose has always been my favorite tea. Now that I am drinking decaf, it is still the same mellow, perfect tea!
