My granddaughter picked this pattern and she is thrilled that when she does a twirl it flounces out. Relatively easy to make I only have a sewing machine - no overlocker or anything like that but it turned out really well.

Sweet Little Skirt

I enjoyed making this skirt for my 5-year-old granddaughter! She lives in Colorado, and, alas, I'm in California, so I haven't had the chance to see her wearing it yet. I took piccies of it on my child mannequin and received glowing reviews from my friends! It was fun to sew, and the tutorial helped me feel like a pro! Additionally, it served as an excellent warm-up for sewing a flounced skirt for myself! xo

Quick and easy sew!

I purchased this pattern after my daughter loved my Follow Me Wrap Dress and wanted one just like it. It's a quick and easy sew and came together beautifully. I added length to the skirt as I didn't have enough fabric to make the flounce. My daughter absolutely loves her new skirt! She is now hunting in my stash for more fabric to make more skirts.
