I have to say it feels a little uncreative to buy a kit to make something, but I’d had a hard time finding trim that was wide enough, so I gave it a try. The shoes turned out great, they’re easy to make, and just the right amount of supplies are included to make the 3 pairs. For the two solid color pairs, you need to line the toe pattern pieces up carefully so you get the same pattern on each toe, but the piece of trim provided was plenty long enough for this, as long as you plan ahead with the placement! The third piece of trim is actually a little narrower than the 2” suggested in the pattern, but it still works. (I kind of split the difference when I cut my toe pieces, and because the trim has a lot of give, it still works.)
