Animal Slippers 18" Doll Shoes

Awesome slippers!

I've been wanting this pattern for a while, and I finally found an excuse to get it! I wanted to make slippers to match the doll pj's I made for my nieces for their birthdays, and this was a perfect match! The pattern comes with pattern pieces and instructions to make a bunny, bear and a cat, but I took it a bit further and made a panda and a fawn. I think you can make just about any animal with this pattern, you just have to be creative! The pattern is very well written with clear photos, and not hard to understand at all. They were fairly easy to make, just a bit fiddly. I cheated a little bit when it came to the noses, and glued them on. It was a bit hard to stay within the seam allowance, but I found the pattern to be very forgiving, and the slippers turned out great! The recipients loved them too!

Fun little project and they were loved by the recipient that's for sure. Some of the pictures are a little hard to decipher but if you flipped to the other examples, you could figure it out a little better. Thank you for the fun pattern.
