XALBADORA Lettuce

I grow lettuce year round on a tower garden. This is the first time I've grown this romaine. So far it is doing very well. Looking forward to put it our salads.

SO tasty, even if it has bolted

I have gotten so many weeks out of these. Tender tasty leaves even if they look like bolting. Really fluffy, lots and lots of leaves on each plant. They do not look like store bought romaine at all.

Great Romaine

I am very impressed with this crop. All seeds grew great. I started them in red solo cups this year due to ease and I was very impressed with how well the roots de-tangled when separating the 5-6 starts that reached about two inches in each pot. All have grown great with no pest issues. We had leaves on burgers last night and they are sweet, firm and just a touch bitter. Will keep planting all year!
