Premium Black Angus Boneless Holiday Rib Roast

Rib roast was advertised as 7.5-9.5 lbs. Mine was only 7.3 lbs. Sold as "premium" which I know is not a valid USDA classification, but at $190 I was expecting more than a USDA Choice. Very disappointing. The roast itself was very nice, though. Well trimmed and good marbling for a Choice roast.

Looks to be an excellent cut of beef ... however, it came to us frozen solid (unlike previous purchases). I typically like to receive, trim, cut to various serving sizes and then freeze. Notwithstanding, we're certain this prime roast will be every bit as delicious as previous cuts that we purchased previously. Best, Bob
