Thread Post for Vintage Singer Sewing Machines

I love these

This is my second one for my second a Featherweight. I use Aurifil thread and since it is cross wound it needs to come off the top of the spool. This item is more compact and fits in my case easily. More useful than a thread stand for travel and classes. I keep one in each case.

I like the way it works. But the little tip that fits on the top half holder falls off easily. Also the spool holder wiggles forward.

Thread post: This thread post works very well . And it works with all styles of spools. It's amazing, such a simple idea, it's definitely a game changer. This is how the thread is supposed to work. I love using the thread post. The thread post seems to make the sewing experience more interesting.
