It just blows my mind how a gel pen could disappear once heated with an iron! I needed to transfer a quilting pattern into a paisley-type printed fabric and tried each color pen on a piece of scrap. The red pen actually showed up best but I was hesitant to draw on my quilt. I got a scrap of each fabric in the quilt, drew on them, waited several hours, ironed it out and drew on it again, this time waiting overnight. It still ironed out! I even drew on it, put it in the fridge overnight then ironed it out! I was thrilled; I finished quilting today and ironed away all marks. I used all the red pen and refill and chose to finish with the black. It all ironed out. Just wish the ink lasted for more than 5 months. I’ll definitely be ordering again. The white did leave a faint image when ironed away; depending on the fabric I probably won’t be using the white one.
