Amazing out of the box!

I am a big guy and generate a lot of torque, so I have been building my wheels for 20 years. I have never seen rims to straight and sturdy on arrival! Lacing them up and truing/dishing was a dream. Fastest build ever for a wheel that is rock solid and beautiful. Thanks Astral!

So far so good.

Purchased these hoops to replace White Ind. G25A hoops that are not longer available, these are the hoops that White Ind. specs their wheels with now. Laced up to a SON28 and White Ind. CLD. The offset makes for a "stronger" build. Internal width allows for tire widths that you will be using riding gravel and single track. I opted for a 3 cross on the rear. If you are looking for a lightweight American made asymmetrical aluminum rim you will be very pleased.
