color slightly off

i like how the dye smells and the overall feeling it left my hair. however, it DEFINITELY came off a lot more vibrant than the photos. i wanted a plum-ish color but got more of a magenta.

the dye did not stay well in my hair, i had to do 3 rounds of dye for 45 minutes each to reach a pigmented color. even then, the dye did not last well after 3 washes

I’m going to be very honest- i HATE the new packaging. The jars are easier to work with and allowed me to see how much product i had left. I also didn’t need a separate bowl with the jars because I could just dip the brush into it if i wasn’t mixing colors. I also just squirted half the package across my bathroom trying to get more dye into the bowl, which wasted a ton of product and stained me, my floor, my bathroom rug, and my countertop. Please bring back the jars, at the very least for the 4oz packaging.
