This lock is poorly constructed. The plastic provides wiggle room that allows the plastic part to often misalign with the bolt. We have been locked in our RV on two occasions. It was very challenging to get to the right position to move the bolt and open the door. The replacement part looks to be identical and I expect the next occurrence of a failure will result in going with another manufacturer. The small locking clip ring is almost impossible to insert and takes a couple of tries to install. I am not pleased.
