Star Anise, Broken Pieces

Better than expected

Although advertised as broken pieces, there were plenty of whole stars in the package. I bought the broken pieces products because I need them for cooking and broken pieces don't matter. If you wants these for crafts, as many people do, you are better off getting whole pieces.

These spices are definitely authentic, reminded me of home

Star Anise is a key ingredient in my turkey brine. It adds a great flavor to the turkey which is always a success.
