Looks good. Fan is pretty loud and the switch is inconvenient spot if putting the glass on and doesn't put out a ton of heat. But there is some heat and it will work.

We pulled out our gas fireplace because our living room was 2 stories and all the heat went up and did us no good. We are very pleased with our choice. It was easy to frame in, easy to wire and looks great with the tile surround. The fire has a realistic appearance and although I was not sure about the shiny backing it does give a real appearance. The only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 is that it has a squeak with the fire rotating motor. I hope that it can be reached to lubricate now that it has been installed and had I thought about it being an issue I would have greased it before installing. Not sure why off the crate it already needed lubrication. I would buy again and do it all over!
