Dimplex Ignite XL 50" Built In | Wall Mount Linear Electric Fireplace | XLF50

I put one of these fireplaces in my Beach home. We’ve used it for two years now and it is the best looking non-gas fireplace on the market. We didn’t have the gas option so that wasn’t even a thought. We like it so much that we bought one for Our seasonal rental and it is being installed right now.

Love the look! Without the heat on you still think its warm because you are seeing fire. It's beautiful with all the different color lighting options. I bought the fireplace online and saved a lot of money with no state tax and free shipping. It arrived in same amount of time as the local dealer would have delivered. Assembly was a wee bit tricky. Instruction says to remove bracket and keep screws. It was not clear which screws or how many. Turns out it was about 12. Also, the last 2 screws to hold the glass in place was impossible to hold in place to get started because of small size and depth of the frame. Then the plastic cosmetic cover over the screw was not keyed in any way. As a result one of the tiny tabs to hold it in place broke. I installed fireplace with 110V for the heater. Its on me, I should have installed the 220V. We have an open floor plan so heater does not seem to do much. It works fine for what its supposed to do. Highly recommend this fireplace with the few minor cautionary install gotchas.

We love our new fireplace! The Dimplex gave us several size options, we went with 50 inch but 60 would have worked, too. LOVE the driftwood and river rock accessory package, which we supplemented with some rocks of our own. This is the perfect centerpiece for our new living room. Oh, and customer service and delivery were smooth sailing. Great company to work with - we'll tell all of our friends!
