Decent Product

I wanted a pill form as I already have enough powders that I take in everyday. However, I was disappointed that the service size is 6 pills twice a day. Obviously, I could have done a better job of reading the nutrition facts label on the product posting.

"Unflavored" may be misleading

I haven't been using the product long enough to comment on the benefits of collagen supplementation, though it seems reasonable and I'm hopeful to see benefits, but I do want to comment on the claim that this product is unflavored. While it may be technically true, in that there are no added flavors, it is not the case that it is flavorless. It has an unpleasant odor which does impart a taste which I don't enjoy. This is less noticeable if mixed in a strong-tasting base such as hot coffee, but even then I can notice a change in the coffee's taste. Re: mixing/dissolving, it dissolves well in hot liquids and mixes well enough in a smoothie if using, e.g., a blender, but it does not mix or dissolve well in cold liquids. This is not unusual for powdered supplements, but worth pointing out if, like me, you prefer cold brew coffee to hot coffee. One possible workaround is to dissolve it in a hot liquid and then chill after, though this requires additional time and obviously doesn't work for cold brew coffee. It is tolerable enough that I will likely finish the package, but I may try a different collagen supplement in the future.
