3L VECTO on Whitney

Above Trail Camp on Mt Whitney water can be a limited resource. Luckily enough, we were able to find water flowing across the lower portion of the 97 switchbacks. Using the 3L Vecto, along with a BeFree filter, was quick and easy. Was able to filter and fill the 3L reservoirs of 5 hikers in a matter of minutes. The 3L Vecto Reservoir is lightweight, took virtually no room in the pack and a breeze to use.

Excellent bag

I gravity filter with a Hydro Blue filter and this bag makes it easy. I have an orange-capped one for dirty water and this blue capped one for clean to use in camp. Makes things simple. They seem to hold up to quite a bit of use.

CNOC Water Bag

I’ve been using these bags for 3 years now. I always bought Sawyer filtration systems but their bags with the tiny opening were just terrible unless you have a deep water source. Most of my backpacking is sourcing water from small shallow streams. The CNOC bag solves most of these problems. I use the 2L for myself and a friend, the 3L is there are more of us. Great product!
