Rob Cosman's Shooting Board: 18 inches

Excellent!

I've been using the shooting board for a few weeks now and it's just what I needed. While I sometimes feel guilty about buying tools that (in theory) I could make myself, I have no regrets here, since it's far better than I could have built on my own.

Well designed Shooting Board

This shooting board has many small advantages that add up to a really great product worth the price. It is 18" long which turns out to be just about ideal for most woodworking projects. The small gap at the bottom of the shute is a game changer that makes the board so much more functional. Lastly the finish is outstanding and will likely last a long time.

Exactly as Rob demonstrates

I thought about building this myself but decided to pull the trigger and get one built by Rob. It is a work of craftsmanship and has taken my skills up a notch.
