Am I Doing Something Wrong?
My saw arrived very sharp and easy to start the kerf. However, as I saw, and the deeper the stroke, the more the teeth grab. Yes, that sounds normal, but as a relatively experienced sawyer with several saws, including (2) Tyzack and Sons dovetail saws, it doesn;t feel normal. The "grab" of the teeth seems excessive. I have examined the teeth from the middle to the rear of the saw, and they appear sharp and ground correctly to my untrained (for saw sharpening) eye. I have done my best to hold a relaxed grip with virtually no downward pressure and to let the saw cut with just the back and forth motion, and with correct body position and arm alignment to the workpiece. Still, I can;t get over the intense digging in of the teeth rearward of the first 2 inches, where the saw has been filed and ground for the purpose of the start of the cut. I hesitate giving it its 4th star in the rating because of this. I just don;t get it. What am I doing wrong? Aside from this, the saw is finely made and straight, and well-packaged.

Sweet saw
The saw feels great in your hand, well balanced and just heavy enough to cut under its own weight. I am looking forward to making a box for my mom

Great saw!
I can’t believe the difference this saw made to my cuts. The 22 tpi on the two inches on the end of the blade makes it extremely easy to get the saw going. Then engaging the 15 tpi on the remainder of the blade gives so much control and an effortless cut. Less time cleaning up your cuts!
