This is a traditional Oolong from Fujian Province in China. Osmanthus Oolong features dark notes of fruit and hints of flowers throughout. Smooth and elegant, this tea is light and fragrant—a perfect choice for a sophisticated afternoon tea. Re-steep the leaves to reveal further beautiful flavors and heavenly aromas.

NICE BALANCE IN A FLORAL OOLONG
A nice oolong. The base tea registers to me as classic oolong. The Osmanthus does not go overboard. It's a good balance.
The dry leaves are tightly rolled, and watching them unfurl during steeping is half the fun.
Would recommend to anyone who likes floral oolongs. A reference point for me is a jasmine-scented tea. I found the Osmanthus to be more balanced; sometimes the jasmines are a bit too floral for me.

FLORAL TEA FUN!
As a fan of floral teas in general, the Osmanthus Oolong has a different scent and flavor compared to my favorite Jasmine tea, but still scratches that itch all the same. However, I found that brewing per the recommendation on the tin seemed to kill some of the Osmanthus scent and flavor. My suggestion would be to instead brew at 175 degrees for 3 minutes.
