I got my hands on the Chantecaille Future Skin Gel Foundation, and I’m really amazed by it so far. I have the shade sand, and it’s usually difficult for me to find a medium deep foundation that matches my undertone well. Even though initially this foundation looks lighter than my skin tone when swatched on my face, it blends in and disappears seamlessly. I would describe the coverage as medium but buildable to full coverage if multiple layers are applied. Even by doing this, it still never gets cakey. I am surprised at how lightweight it feels on my face, but I guess that has to do with the increased water content of the foundation giving it that “gel” consistency. Also, my favourite way to apply it is by using a buffing brush, as it gives it that even, flawless finish. I think this is a great option of you wanted that blurred or filtered look for photos or videos. I also like that the packaging is made with sustainability in mind, and that it is fully recyclable.
